"Gynaecological disease is the 'Elephant in the Room'
of women's healthcare"
Beautifully Handmade

In May and June 2018 I'll be climbing Mount Rinjani with a a group of fundraisers from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
This is a huge challenge, which will test us physcially and mentally, but also an amazing adventure!
I am funding the trip myself - but hope to use this as an opportunity to raise as much money as possible for the RCOG charity - to help improve healthcare for women worldwide.
All money raised will go towards the Essential Gynaecological Skills course.
Gynaecological disease is the 'Elephant in the Room' of women's healthcare - often forgotten or not talked about - and responsible for a huge burden of global morbidity and mortality.
The course covers 10 aspects of women's healthcare, appropriately adapted to the country and culture in which it is being delivered, including:
-
Cervical cancer
-
Contraception
-
Early pregnancy loss
-
Infertility
-
Obstetric fisula
-
Sexually transmitted diseases
-
Abnormal menstrual bleeding
The course has so far been piloted in Sri Lanka,
Nigeria and Bangladesh.
